I finally had enough time to install a new theme for Blog Zenith.  I love this theme, but it was written in Spanish!  I have tried to go through and change the Spanish to English, but I may have missed a few items here or there.  I will keep working on it!

It has been 12 days since I signed up for Entrecard. So far, I have found that it is a very useful site. I have placed six ads and I have 2 pending approval. Ads placed on my site total about eight with three left to run. I took a screenshot of the stats for my site:

Notice that the number of cards dropped on me is 138. This is a little misleading as it does not transfer into number of unique visitors. I have had some cards dropped more than one time.

If you are using Entrecard, here are some tips to consider:

• Drop cards on those that drop cards on you.
• Review blogs and this may turn into a review for you as well.
• Every day check out the newest blogs. These have the cheapest advertising rates. Advertising rates increase as you drop cards and have cards dropped on you.
• Place your Entrecard code in a visual place on your blog (before someone has to scroll down). You won’t get card drops if no one sees it.
• Design a cool blog button, it looks more professional. Here’s mine:

When you advertise, remember each advertisement only appears for one day. Make sure you keep your queue full and your blog will get more traffic.

My sister-in-law wanted to add a section to her new blog that would enable her to post a poll. After some searching, I came across a WordPress Plugin, WP-Polls that was written by Lester Chan. I downloaded the plugin, unzipped it and uploaded the polls folder that was created to my wp-content/plugins directory.

Activate the WP-Polls plugin. If you are using widgets, make sure you activate the WP-Polls Widget plugin as well.  Since I am using widgets, I just dragged the WP-Polls widget to my sidebar.

It was very easy to add a new poll.  You will have a new tab on your menu called Polls.  There you can manage your polls and create new ones as well.  I have added a poll to the side of my blog so you can see what it looks like.

Lester Chan has created a forum for support for the plugin.  If you have any problems, visit the forum, it is extremely helpful!

I have heard a lot of buzz on the internet lately about NeverBlueAds.  It seems that they are sponsoring a couple of contests and giving away some free cash.  The first contest is at Tyler Cruz’s site.  He is giving away $50 to six lucky people.  To enter, subscribe to his RSS email feed.  The second contest just ended and eight winners were chosen.
