Blog Meme – Top 10 Entrecard Droppers

A blog meme is often a series of questions that bloggers answer that involves sharing a personal experience or other experience. A blog meme can help build traffic to your site, especially if you are the creator of the meme.

This meme was developed by Yimto Affiliate Marketing Blog. Simply put, if you are using Entrecard, list your top 10 Entrecard Droppers and give there website a short review. Here are the official rules:

So, here are the simple rules of this Meme:

1. Post your Top 10 Dropper’s Blogs, and write a little comment about them, which you could use as a recommendation should you choose

2. Message them with the Entrecard message system to let them know that they have been tagged, and encourage them to continue the chain. (and thank them for dropping so many cards)

3. Include a link to the Entrecard Meme article of the person who tagged you

4. Include a link to the original post

5. Drop your card on your Top 10′s sites, if you haven’t already!

6. Drop cards on the other sites that were tagged along with you if you wish, as they will probably drop back

  • Young Urban Professionals nOOk – Great blog for young professionals or anyone in the workplace.

This was fun!  I am going to re-visit this meme in about three months and see how things have changed!

rssHugger

I have been reading all over the blogosphere about this service – rssHugger – and now I know why. After you register, you can submit your blog. If you want your blog listed for free, then all you have to do is post about rssHugger on your blog (which I am doing now). If you don’t want to post about the service, you will have to cough up $20.

What does rssHugger do? Basically, is a website to help bloggers promote their blogs. Hopefully visitors to the site will discover new and interesting blogs and subscribe to them. It was easy to get started and I will post in a few weeks to see if I get any traffic from this service.

rssHugger has a Top 100 Blog list that resets every month. If you visit a blog’s page it gives the blog one vote.

Fuel My Blog

Fuel My Blog is a great way to get your blog noticed. I have four other blogs that I write four and I have submitted these to Fuel My Blog. Some of them have even made the top 10. I do get visitors from the site as well.

It is easy to add a widget to your blog that allows your visitors to vote for your blog. I have added the widget to my sidebar and you can vote for me there.

Fuel My Blog also runs contests and awards prizes. The competition can involve writing a post, taking a picture or getting lots of votes. There is also a forum that includes such topics as “How Do I Start Blogging?” and “Hot Blog Posts.” You will be able to get some great advice from seasoned bloggers in the forum.
