Google Subscribed Links

3 comentarios »

I just found out the coolest thing and I couldn’t wait to blog about it! You see I am taking part in the Thirty Day Challenge by Ed Dale and the latest pre-season lesson has to do with Google Subscribed Links. Now, I don’t confess to be a guru on all things internet, so I hadn’t heard of this before. Basically, you build a list of links relevant to your product, blog or website. Next, put a button on your site for subscribers and your subscribers will be shown your favorite links when they perform Google Searches.

By clicking on the button below, you will subscribe to my searches. Whenever you perform a search it will show you my favorite sites as well.

Just click on the button above and then click on subscribe.  To test, open Google and type “blogging tips” (without the quotes) in the search bar.  About four items down, you will see a cool icon and my blog!  How cool its that!  Start building your own subscribed links and let your readers know what your favorite sites are!

Who is Calling?

1 comentario »

Do you ever get weird phone calls on your cell phone or home phone, but can’t figure our who is calling you?  I have had a number of strange numbers call, but when I try to do a reverse number look up the number is not listed.

A new site has been started to help people just like you find out about these numbers.   EveryCall.us is a website devoted to helping you find that number.  Simply enter the number that you want to look up.  Make sure that you include the area code.  After you hit the search button you will be prompted to enter information about the call.  If it is a number that has already been entered, you will be able to see comments that others have left on the number.

Hopefully, this will let you see if others have had calls from the number and who the number actually belongs to.  Many telemarketers and sales people do not have their numbers listed so it is difficult to track.  I noticed that there is one number with almost 800 comments.  This number (201-373-8371) is from a scammer that lets you believe you have won something and then tries to sell you more stuff!  Beware!

BANS - Build a Niche Store

3 comentarios »

I have been looking at this product for a while now and have decided to take the plunge.  I think I have come up with a good niche and will keep you appraised of my progress.

Build a Niche Store of BANS utilizes eBay auctions to produce your “sales”. Every time someone purchase a product from your site they are actually purchasing from eBay and you get a commission. You also get a commission every time someone finds your site and then signs up for an eBay account.

The KEY to making this process successful is finding a niche that will bring your profits. For example, maybe you will choose sports memorabilia, laptops, mp3 players, etc. After choosing your niche, you will utilize the Build A Niche Store website that you will receive. Here is an example of a BANS store that has been setup to focus on race cars Race Car eBay Affiliate Website and one for golf equipment Golf eBay Affiliate WebsiteYour store will automatically update as new products are listed for sale and old listing expire from the eBay marketplace and the software has built in development features which enable you to create new store pages, add content to these pages, create content pages, modify your template etc etc.

Build A Niche Store comes with a step by step user manual which will walk even the most technically inexperienced through setting up their eBay affiliate website, 9 professional template layouts which can be customized (from inside your admin panel) to match your target niche, lifetime member forum access, comprehensive product support and possibly most importantly – an UNLIMITED domain license which means you can build as many of these niche websites as you want for the small one time fee.

So far, I have purchased a domain name and hosting package.  I have also done some extensive research on a number of niches.  The key to making the site successful is promotion as well.  Follow my progress as I see if I can set up a successful BANS store.
