I just found out the coolest thing and I couldn’t wait to blog about it! You see I am taking part in the Thirty Day Challenge by Ed Dale and the latest pre-season lesson has to do with Google Subscribed Links. Now, I don’t confess to be a guru on all things internet, so I hadn’t heard of this before. Basically, you build a list of links relevant to your product, blog or website. Next, put a button on your site for subscribers and your subscribers will be shown your favorite links when they perform Google Searches.

By clicking on the button below, you will subscribe to my searches. Whenever you perform a search it will show you my favorite sites as well.

Just click on the button above and then click on subscribe. To test, open Google and type “blogging tips” (without the quotes) in the search bar. About four items down, you will see a cool icon and my blog! How cool its that! Start building your own subscribed links and let your readers know what your favorite sites are!

On one of my other blogs, I use the Max Stripe Ad to remind readers to subscribe to my RSS Feed. It is an easy way to add an advertisement or reminder for your readers. Now MaxBlogPress has come out with a new plugin called Max Banner Ads and I thought I would give it a try.

The plugin installed easily and it took me only 20 minutes to get five ads up on my site. The set up is so easy! You can add advertisements in four places - top of first post, sidebar, bottom of last post and within the post. I have added all except the one within the post. The best thing is that you can add as many banners or boxes as you want - each add will rotate in order.

I also love that Max Banner Ads includes stats. Here are my stats from the recently added banners. The stats included impressions and clicks. This will help me decide if an advertisement is working well or not.

You can download Max Banner Ads as ReviewWare right now. This means you can download it and use it for free but they are asking that you provide a review of the product or let others now about it. You can also purchase the Pro Edition. This edition removes the words “Powered by MaxBlogPress” and the price is $47.

Do you ever get weird phone calls on your cell phone or home phone, but can’t figure our who is calling you? I have had a number of strange numbers call, but when I try to do a reverse number look up the number is not listed.

A new site has been started to help people just like you find out about these numbers. EveryCall.us is a website devoted to helping you find that number. Simply enter the number that you want to look up. Make sure that you include the area code. After you hit the search button you will be prompted to enter information about the call. If it is a number that has already been entered, you will be able to see comments that others have left on the number.

Hopefully, this will let you see if others have had calls from the number and who the number actually belongs to. Many telemarketers and sales people do not have their numbers listed so it is difficult to track. I noticed that there is one number with almost 800 comments. This number (201-373-8371) is from a scammer that lets you believe you have won something and then tries to sell you more stuff! Beware!

If you haven’t discovered Blog Oh! Blog yet you might want to give this blog a good read. Not only did I find a slew of interesting and informative posts, but there is also a contest to give a way a PS3 console and your choice of one game!

On to what I like about Blog Oh! Blog. First the format is very clean and readable. I don’t stick around long on a blog if I can’t figure out how to read the posts. Second, the posts are informative without being overly long. I really enjoy blogs that give me lots of information in a short amount of space. Take for instance the post about a new plugin that I will definitely have to try. The post about Plugin Central tells me succinctly about the plugin and its features without giving an overly wordy post that leaves me bored.

What I also love about Blog Oh! Blog is the plethora of wordpress themes that I can find right on the site. You can find both free wordpress themes and premium wordpress themes with a click of the mouse.

If you want to chat with Jai, the owner of Blog Oh! Blog he has added a nice chat window at the top of his blog. It even lets you know when if he is online or offline. All in all, Blog Oh! Blog is a great place to visit and add to your feed reader!
