Mandy left the following comment: “I would like to see a way to search for other Entrecards. The bigger Entrecard gets, I keep loosing my place trying to find my favorites. Hey, there’s a thought a “Favorites” where you can add you favorite Entrecards? ”
There is a favorites function in Entrecard. Click on a blog under “Campaign” and then click on “Add to Favorites” on the right hand side. This works like a charm, however, I still would like to see a search since sometimes I remember the name of a blog, but just can’t seem to find it.

A blog meme is often a series of questions that bloggers answer that involves sharing a personal experience or other experience. A blog meme can help build traffic to your site, especially if you are the creator of the meme.

I have just installed the Entrecard widget into my sidebar. Entrecard is a very cool program that allows you to make a “business” card that you can drop onto other blogs that are also running the Entrecard widget.
If you want to advertise on a specific blog, you can for free. How do you “pay” for this free advertising? It is done by Entrecard credits. You earn Entrecard credits every time you visit a blog and drop your card. All you do is click on the “Drop Yours” at the bottom of the Entrecard widget on a blog. This does not make the card visible, it just tells the blog owner that you visited their blog.
If you want to make the card visible, you can advertise with all the credits you earned by visiting blogs in the first place. You earn 1 credit each time you drop your card and 1 credit each time you drop your card on other’s blogs. You also earn credits each time you advertise.
Entrecard is a cool way to get your blog noticed for free. Try it. I think you will like it.

With all the decrease in bloggers’ page rank, you might be wondering why? Here is a tool that could help you determine the cause - Bad Neighborhood - Tools for the Uncommon Webmaster. The have a text link checker tool that will determine if links on your blog my cause problems.
Each link is checked and three areas are checked. First, the checker determines if the link is Blog Spam. If the link directs to a page where a lot of the incoming links are from blogs, the Blog Spam icon will occur. Some commercial website tend to increase their page rank by blog comment spamming, so be sure to check the comments on the post.
The check then determines the Link Density. A page that has more than 100 links is sometimes considered a link farm or it could be a blog with a lot of comment spam.
The last item is if the link passes the “family friendly” test or if the page is not found. Links to online gambling, adult entertainment, etc. will get flagged and will pages with redirects or the link is no longer valid.
I ran this tool on one of my blogs and found a number of links where the page did not exist anymore. I will try and clean these up. Some of the links were paid posts and thus not changeable. However, even correcting a few items could bode well the next time Google does a Page Rank revision.
